This unit has two main parts. The first part will consider the mathematical content appropriate to the primary and middle school where students will develop a deeper understanding of the content needed to advise colleagues. The second part will investigate policy statements relating to primary mathematics teaching in the school context and methods for working with colleagues and parents to develop the quality of mathematics teaching and learning.
